A former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani in an interview with Arise TV on the Morning Show, said the government should go after Dogo Gide and Sani Jalingo, also known as Baleri who are the leaders of the kidnappers in Kaduna State, than focusing on Kanu and Igboho.

He said, ”I can say in comparative terms that there is more interest in the side of the government in going after seccessionists than going after bandits. But I’m not in support of seccessionist…”

”I believe that if the same effort is applied on the way they going after Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho, they would do that to these bandits, things would have been better for us in kaduna and the North Western parts of Nigeria. Arresting Dogo Gide and Baleri is more important to us than the issues of Sunday Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu as far as I’m concerned.” Sani added
