Leader of the Movement for Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Ralph Uwazuruike has taken a swipe at Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state, describing him as a saboteur.
Uwazuruike, therefore, called on Ndigbo to always disregard counter views or opinions expressed by Okorocha with regards to the actualization of Biafra.
According to him, the governor had constitutional right to express his opinion or views on any matter, including that of MASSOB, but had no capacity to decide or determine what happens in Igbo land.
He was reacting to a recent statement attributed to Okorocha where he dissociated southeast governors and leaders from the pro-Biafra groups.
He said the Igbos will not use the agitation for Biafra to pursue the Igbo agenda.
In a statement issued to newsmen in Onitsha, Anambra state and signed by the national deputy director for information, Mazi Chris Mocha, the MASSOB leader said: “Okorocha is aiding and abetting the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government in the continued marginalisation of the Igbo.
“He is also financing the central mosque near the Government House, Owerri, Imo state to the detriment of our people.” (Daily Post)
