Mrs. Elizabeth Nwachi Nnamani, the mother of the former governor of Enugu State and senator representing the Enugu East Senatorial District, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, has passed away.
She was aged 85 years.
In a terse statement personally issued by himself on Monday morning, Senator Nnamani stated that the sad event occurred in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States, adding that her burial will take place in Virginia, United States, as she wished.
The traditional burial and funeral rites will follow later at Ojiagu-Agbani, on a date to be announced later, the statement added.
