The Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, has kick started his own campaign today with strong prayers with people of God.
Obi who has led vigorous pre-campaign consultations across the globe appears not in a hurry to go for open rallies as presidential campaigns officially begin today, according to the timetable by the Independent National Electoral Commission,

He is spotted knelling before group of men and women who are obviously praying for the success of his presidential ambition.
Having successfully projected his ambition to represent God’s agenda, the former Anambra Governor is expected to continue down the track. Two months ago, Obi was prayed for by team of Catholic Bishops in Abuja as a climax of his many visits to all celebrity pastors in across Nigeria.
In sharp contrast, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has already jetted out to the streets with the inauguration of his presidential council holding in Abuja today.
Not much is heard of Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso, Sowore Omoyele and other presidential candidates. But it was reported that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has taken its sick candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, for medical treatment in London.
Obi’s campaign, for the common people, represents hope and prosperity for Nigeria while the cabals and the political class continue strengthen themselves to play the devil’s advocate and ultimately rob him the presidency in 2023.
