The police have launched a search for a businessman identified as Uchenna Ubadi, allegedly infamous for defiling minors.
According to a source, the incident happened on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, when the suspect’s wife, Amaka noticed that her 7-year-old daughter who had slept on the floor with her dad in their one-bedroom apartment had been sexually molested.
“I have been noticing that my daughter always ends up on the floor beside her dad whenever I wake up in the morning. So on that fateful day, I woke up and saw she was covered with the bedspread next to her dad. So I removed the bedspread and discovered my daughter’s pants had been pulled down and Uche’s trouser was unzipped.
I screamed for help and our neighbors gathered.
”My daughter was interrogated and she revealed this wasn’t the first time Uche has been sexually molesting her. I also revealed that I had caught him with a 3-year-old girl the previous year and that he had impregnated his step sister in the village. He was beaten before he ran away. I reported the case to the Police and a manhunt has been launched for his whereabouts,” Amaka said.
