The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has condemned the alleged statements credited to the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, asking President Muhammadu Buhari to use the full weight of the law to crush IPOB and other similar groups agitating for freedom and cessation in Nigeria, saying that they have shown lack of understanding of what actualization of sovereign state of Biafra is all about.
IPOB in a statement signed by its Media and Publicity Officer, Mr Emma Powerful described ACF as “a group of clueless and misinformed old wicked men and women who are keeping quiet while the present administration lacked understanding of what governance is all about and has in the process subjected the country into untold hardship, caused by high cost of petroleum products, lack of electricity and bad economic management”.
“They lack understanding of what is happening now about the restoration of Biafra, all they know is how to display wickedness and the hatred they have against the people of Biafra, but they forgot that Biafra is a spirit no man born of a woman or forum and organization can defeat.
“Again, ACF should remember that during the time of Nigeria’s Independence, Biafrans like Mazi Mbonu Ejike, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Dr. Michael Okpara, Dr. Akanu Ibiam, Margaret Ekpo and others were at the forefront of the struggle for the independent of Nigeria, these great individuals were all Biafra, where was your vision when these individuals were fighting for independence of Nigeria you are today claiming to be your property.” (Vanguard)
