Tired of waiting for the Imo State government to give them motorable roads, the youths in the state now use hoes, shovels, cutlasses and other farming tools to make their roads passable.
One of such incidents, was the filling of sand on the Umuchima Road in Uratta, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State, where the youths of the area had decided to make their road, at least, motorable.
Expressing their views on the neglected road, they pointed out that it was manageable until the government began construction on it and later abandoned it, which, they said, resulted in its bad state, and that since before 2014 nothing significant had been done on the road. (Vanguard)
