The management of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, has asked medical students residing in its hostel to vacate following the deplorable condition of the facility to enable the authority embark on complete renovation ahead of accreditation, Vanguard reports.
The students were earlier notified in a letter signed by the College Secretary, Mr. D. K Okpala alerting them of the management’s intention to renovate the facility for improved living standard.
The letter read: ”I am directed to inform all students of the ESUT College of Medicine that they must vacate the hostels and the college premises before 4 p.m. today, November 3. Students must leave the college with all their belongings… Note that any property left behind in the hostel after 4p.m. will be deemed to have been forfeited.”
