courtA pastor in Enugu State who impregnated 20 of his female church members has been charged to court.

Pastor Timothy Ngwu, the Founder and General Overseer of the Vineyard Ministry of the Holy Trinity based in Enugu State, was charged to court by the police after he allegedly impregnated more than 20 women in his church, claiming he did so on the orders of the Holy Spirit.

The 53-year-old Ngwu, who had sent away his own wife because she complained about his wayward behaviour, was said be fond of sleeping with the women in his church including the married women and ended up putting many of them in the family way. He was charged with multiple sexual assault.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Ebere Amarizu, confirmed that the police have finally charged the randy pastor to court.

“The pastor claims to be obeying prophetic/spiritual injunction to do the will of God, which is to impregnate any one chosen and revealed by the Holy Spirit, irrespective of whether the woman is married or not. When the woman is delivered of the baby, the child remains in the ministry with the mother for life.”

One of his brothers who is also not happy with the activities of Ngwu blasted him thus: “Let me tell you, God’s anger has befallen on my brother as we have appealed to him to stop what he was doing but he refused. He has colonised our compound, bearing children with recklessness.

He accused us of being jealous of him because he is doing the will of God. He sacked his betrothed wife who has three children for him and embarked on impregnating married women and young girls.” (Pulse)
