The Peoples Democratic Party has granted a nine-day extension for the submission of already completed nominated forms for state congresses.
This was contained in a statement titled, ‘PDP Extends Submission Deadline for Already Completed Nomination Forms for State Congresses,’ signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, in Abuja, on Sunday.
It read in part, “The National Working Committee of the PDP has extended the submission deadline for already completed nomination forms for State congresses from the earlier announced date of Friday, September 23, 2021, to a new date of Friday, October 1, 2021.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the affected states are Adamawa, Borno, Ebonyi, Kebbi, Kwara, Lagos, and Oyo. The decision of the NWC is pursuant to its powers under the Constitution of the PDP 2017 (as amended).
“All critical stakeholders and members in states where state congresses forms have not been concluded are hereby guided accordingly.”
