The Ebonyi state government has terminated the appointment of Vincent Olughu as the press secretary to the Rachel Umahi, wife of the governor.
This is contained in a statement made available to NAN by Emma Anya, chief press secretary to the governor.
The statement gave no reason for the decision but said that Olughu would be replaced by Donatus Owoh, a staff of the Ebonyi Broadcasting Corporation (EBBC).
Owoh’s appointment according to the statement, takes effect from January 15.
Olughu also served as the press secretary to Josephine Elechi, wife of the former governor of the state.
