Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has stated a person is solely entitled to whatever they’ve worked for.

The son of the legendary Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie was reacting to those who always display heightened sense of entitlement.

According to the movie star, people should never be deceived by the flamboyant lifestyles displayed on social media.

Most people, he said, are not really as they portray themselves which is why people should humbly request favours from others and not because you think or feel they have so much to spare.

Yul Edochie emphasised the importance of the magic word “please” when seeking any form of favour from anyone.

He wrote: “The only thing you are entitled to in this world is that thing you have worked for.

“So when asking for help, always add the word ‘please’.

“Nobody owes you anything. And never say to anyone, ‘I know you can do it for me’, you know nothing about other people’s lives.

“Forget what you see on social media, people only show you the little they want to show you.

“You don’t know the rest. Good luck.”
