Residents and indigenes of Eluama Amaiyi Nvosi in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government of Abia State have been rendered homeless by a whirlwind which accompanied a heavy downpour.

The wind blew off the roofs of their houses, giving room for the rain to pour in vehemently.

Ehi-na-Uguru Autonomous Community Primary School was also affected, its roof and parts of the classrooms destroyed by the whirlwind.
