The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Wednesday, reacted to the trending viral photo pf a young man in Germany clad in an IPOB vest and stepping on the Nigerian flag.
While responding to a question on Arise News Morning show monitored by The Easterner, the former governor of Anambra State stated that his son is a professional who is based in London and not in Germany and so doesn’t have time for IPOB agitation.
Obi said that even when he visited the United Kingdom, his son couldn’t see him because he was busy and occupied with work.
He further stated his son and his friends desire to return to Nigeria and establish but for the challenges bedevilling the country, they have remained in the UK.
The Labour Party presidential candidate emphasised his commitment to fixing Nigeria’s economy and bringing crimes to a halt.
