U.S President, Joe Biden has declared that America and its allies no longer have any business in Afghanistan.

The President said that there is no question of his government credibility, insisting that the U.S and its allies have no interest in Afghanistan at this point, with Al Qaeda gone.

The president, who addressed the press on Friday, answered questions from journalists flanked by Vice President Kamala Harris and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

“I have seen no question of our credibility from our allies around the world,” he said.

“What interest do we have in Afghanistan at this point, with Al Qaeda gone?

“We went to Afghanistan with the “express purpose of tackling Al Qaeda and getting Osama Bin Laden,” he added.

Referring to the G7 meeting with other world leaders, he said: “Every one of them knew and agreed with the decision I made to jointly end our involvement in Afghanistan.”
