Mother of late Dowen College student, Sylvester Oromoni Jnr, who was allegedly bullied by five schoolmates who tried to lure him into cultism has reacted as the students and employees of the school linked to her son’s death were exonerated of any involvement.
Daily Post had reported that the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, Ms Adetutu Oshinusi, cleared all five students, staff members and the college of complexity in the death of the 12-year-old on Wednesday.
Oshinusi said the result of the toxicology did not indicate the presence of any toxic or poisonous substance in Oromoni’s body.
The DPP also cleared the students of belonging to unlawful society due to insufficient facts to establish the offence.
Reacting, the deceased’s mother in a viral video broke down in tears and asked God to avenge the death of her son.
She also thanked Nigerians for supporting her family and calling for justice.
“The battle that is on ground is of the Lord. For this the whole world will know that there is God that fights for the oppressed.
“Dear lord, let your wrath fall on all of them.
“Let them know that I serve you. Let them experience what I am passing through in the mighty name of Jesus.
“They will know that there are some people they that are untouchable. The whole world, Nigeria, let them know that you love me, let them know that you are the one fighting my battle.
“Arise and avenge the death of my son. I depend on you alone Jehovah God. Arise and fight this battle in Jesus mighty name I pray.”
