The former governor of Enugu State and senator representing Enugu East Senatorial District, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani has made financial support to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for its electioneering campaign for the forthcoming local government elections in the state.
The elections are scheduled to hold on February 23, 2022.
Senator Nnamani, in a release by his media office, announced the donation of N15 million to the party in his home Nkanu West Local Government Area while the rest of five council areas in his senatorial zone will receive N2 million each, making a total of N25 million. The council areas are Nkanu East, Isi Uzo, Enugu North, Enugu South and Enugu East.
Senator Nnamani urged his constituents to turn out en masse as usual to support the PDP candidates, while wishing the party success in the polls.
