Peter Mbah, the Enugu State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Monday said he would ensure sustainable peace and security by deploying technology and community policing in the state.
In a meeting with journalists, Mbah promised he would ensure the sustainability of his predecessors’ acachievements which include: prompt payment of salaries, infrastructural strides, peace and security, and will further build on them.
According to him, Enugu will have a huge economy integrated rural development programme which will address the infrastructural challenges. He promised to pay attention to internal community policing and deploy technology to tackle insecurity especially in rural areas.
“We are going to have a-three-point approach towards peace and security in Enugu State. We intend to tackle the root causes of insecurities and also tackle unemployment.” He added.
