The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has accused an indigene of the Niger Delta, Asari Dokubo, of conniving with the Federal Government to recruit cultists to fight against the Biafra cause.
The group added that it never wanted to dignify Dokubo and his recruits with a response, but for clarity sake it decided to make the matter a public knowledge, so that people would not blame it if anything happened.
In a statement on Monday, the Media and Publicity Secretary, IPOB, Emma Powerful, alleged that Dokubo had sealed a contract with the Federal Government and some South-East politicians to recruit Ijaw youths to fight Biafra agitators and the Eastern Security Network operatives in the hinterland.
It added that Dokubo and his few traitors were using the move to create confusion between Igbo Biafra and Izon Biafra.
