A group under the aegis of Academia Support Group (ASG), Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Chapter, has endorsed the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah for the upcoming March 11 governorship election in the State.
The group disclosed this on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in a statement signed by its Director General, Eugene Nwodo and Secretary General, Emeka Nwanze in Enugu.
Harping on Mbah’s track record of excellence, the group stated that its members unanimously agreed to endorse and support Peter Ndubuisi Mbah having critically analysed the profiles and manifestos of the major governorship candidates in the state and resolving that Mbah has all the necessary credentials and dispositions to take Enugu State to greater heights.
The group further exhorted indigenes and residents of Enugu State to support Peter Mbah for the collective good of the State.
The statement read in part:
“Having gone through the profiles and manifestos of all the leading aspirants in the forthcoming Governorship Election in Enugu State on Saturday 11th March, 2023; we have resolved to endorse and support Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah to be the next executive governor of Enugu State.
“We strongly believe that he has all the necessary credentials proven track records and dispositions to take Enugu State to a greater heights in all areas of human and material development. His successs in the private sector is a clear indication to this.
“We wish to enjoin all other well meaning indigenes and residents of Enugu State to rally round the candidature of Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah , for the collective good of Enugu State.”
