The envoys gave Ugwuanyi the guarantee, when they paid him a concord and gratitude visit at Government House, Enugu, yesterday. They told the governor that their allegiance and support remained strong, saying they will stand by the governor as their leader in the state.
The team being led by the Speaker, Enugu State House of Assembly, Edward Ubosi added member representing Nkanu East/West Federal Constituency, Nnolim Nnaji; his Enugu East/Isi-Uzo counterpart, Prince Nnaji; former Deputy Governor of the State, Bishop Ralph Nwoye; PDP Zonal Chairman, Enugu East Senatorial District, Nnamdi Nwafor, among others. They announced their verdict was concordant and borne out of their dogged loyalty and support to the governor and his leadership traits as a peaceful and objective-oriented leader. Ubosi disclosed the delegates were among the Enugu East Senatorial District people who collocated the Oganiru Mega Rally last year to appeal that it was the turn of the senatorial zone to click the succeeding governor of Enugu State in 2023 regarding the already existing swiveling zoning disposition in the state.
“We are here to reaffirm our uniform stance that where you order us is where we will go. We evenly came to belabor that we are one family waiting on your directions. Just say a word and ponder it done. We promise you 100 percent loyalty,” Ubosi said.
PDP Zonal Chairman, Nwafor conserved that the delegates were solidly behind Governor Ugwuanyi, saying, “where you want us to go is definitely where we will go.”
The Chairman, Enugu East LGA, Livinus Anike, who represented the chairmen of the six local government areas said: “We the people of Enugu East Senatorial District are stuck with you in the morning, in the afternoon and in the night.”
The chairman of PDP in Nkanu East LGA, Emeka Nwatu, speaking on behalf of the PDP in the six LGAs of the zone, thanked Governor Ugwuanyi for his umbrella leadership flair and fidelity to their headway, imparting that they are for him no matter.
The envoys’ patronage thrust was enthroned with a prayer by Bishop Nwoye who beseeched God’s guidance, protection and grant the governor with the sagacity and brawn to pursue to lead the PDP and the state on the road of victory, peace and good governance.
