The last hope for Ekweremadu’s camp to usurp the outcome of the election of the 3-man ad hoc delegates from the 260 electoral wards in Enugu State has hit the rock as an Abuja Federal High Court has dismissed their applications.
Loyalists of Ike Ekweremadu, the former Deputy Senate President had approached the court to nullify the process leading to the election of the delegates who are voting in the ongoing House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senatorial and Governorship primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
However, a source at the court where the judgement was delivered said the matter was decided against the plaintiffs.
