Victor Umeh, the Chairman, Peace and Reconciliation Committee of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State, has said APGA has scored 85% in the governance and administration of the state since 2006.

Umeh said the government cannot make everybody happy at the same time but insisted that the party has never diminished in the welfare and wellbeing of Anambra people since 2006.

Umeh, who stated this in Awka on Thursday while reacting to the Kano Appeal Court judgment, told journalists that in terms of performance, APGA has done so much for the state despite the antics of the opposition.

He said there are solid achievements in the state to justify his claims that APGA has indeed blazed the trail in monumental developments ranging from the international airport to others, stressing that there would be absolutely no reason whatsoever for Anambra people to vote out APGA come November 6, 2021.

According to him, before September this year, there is a certainty that commercial flights will begin at the airport and people from across Nigeria will land safely at the airport.

He, however, pointed out that when Governor Willie Obiano muted the idea of building an airport in partnership with a Chinese Consortium, which did not work out. People thought it was just an audio airport but the governor he said took the bull by the horn and today, APGA government delivered a state-of-the-art airport for the present and future generations.

Umeh maintained that APGA is the only political party that does not interfere with governance unlike other political parties, which he said, would quarrel and fight over the resources of the state, thereby scuttling development.

He said he was happy with the judgment delivered by the Court of Appeal sitting in Kano, saying that the Jigawa High Court attempted to foist a stranger on the party as the national chairman and that some people continued to use the judgment to torment APGA.

He said the Judiciary has redeemed its name with the Appeal Court judgment and that justice has been done, adding that the superior Court ruled that Jigawa High Court Judgment lacked territorial and substantial jurisdiction to decide on it.

The former Anambra-Central Senate representative emphasized that with the judgment of the Kano Appeal Court, APGA has been rebranded and poised to win the November 6 governorship election with Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo as candidate of the party, adding that it is hoped that INEC will without further delay, publish the name of the former CBN governor.
