Anambra kidnapped lawmaker slain, Soludo reacts, places N10M bounty on killers

A lawmaker representing Aguata II Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Okechukwu Okoye who was earlier kidnapped has been killed and beheaded by unknown gunmen.

Okoye who was representing Gov. Soludo’s constituency and his aide, Cyril Chiegboka were kidnapped on 15 May,2022. Attempts made to track their whereabouts proved abortive.

However, the lawmaker’s freshly beheaded head was mounted at Chisco park in Amichi community, in Anambra state.

Reacting, governor Soludo has offered to give N10M reward to any individual with information on those responsible for the barbaric act.

He said the money will be given to anyone or group that will avail valuable information to track the killers of the abducted lawmaker Okechukwu Okoye.

Soludo assured Anambrarians that the state will soon be a hell for “these criminal”.
