Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state says a vote for the APGA gubernatorial candidate in the November 6 governorship election, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo is a vote for the progress and prosperity of the state.

Obiano who observed that many were in the governorship contest for ulterior motives, noted that the APGA candidate was more qualified and better positioned to govern Anambra because he believes Professor Soludo has the reach, contacts, and connections to be able to lead a state like Anambra.

The governor, therefore, reiterated that a vote for Soludo is a vote for prosperity for Ndi-Anambra. He said APGA does not have any competition and that he has no doubt that APGA will win a landslide and Soludo will become the next governor.

Obiano said the former APGA government did well but couldn’t bequeath any legacy projects on Ndi-Anambra but his government came and did more including providing an airport that eluded the state for 30 years. The governor also said his government was the only government that witnessed two recessions in 2016 and the COVID-19 pandemic respectively but was steadfast.

He said his administration built an international airport, constructed many roads and still constructing more roads, built three flyovers in Awka together with 18 other bridges across the state, adding that it was under his watch that Anambra state officially became an oil-producing state.

Obiano however assured Ndi-Anambra, saying that he knows the pedigree of Prof. Soludo and that he will perform better than himself while urging the citizens to keep faith with APGA and resist any temptations from persons coming to ruin Anambra in the guise of governance.
