Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has expressed sadness that Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) spent Chrismas in custody.
In a post on her Instagram page, she wrote: “Today is Christmas and Mazi Nnamdi Okwu Kanu is still not free right?”
She went on to vent her anger at the Federal Government for not releasing Kanu.
The IPOB leader is on trial over treasonable felony charges at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
He has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
