Activist, Harrison Gwamnishu has declared interest to run for the post of a member of the House of Representatives, representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency of Delta State.
Gwamnishu made this known, Wednesday, on his verified Facebook page.
He wrote, ”Many people have often described politics as a dirty game, but believe me when I say, it is dirty because we allow the bad people have their way. As a nation we have learnt to sell our conscience for a morsel of bread rather than focus on ways to own the bakery for ourselves.
And so today, after consultations with family and friends, I wish to officially declare my intention to run in the forth coming elections as a member of the House of Representatives for for the Aniocha Oshimili Federal Constituency. It is time we show the world that Nigeria’s population is made up of a vast number of youths who are committed to doing things the right way.
You have seen me, you all know me, you know I have no other motive than ensuring that the fundamental human rights of everyone is maintained and protected. I invite every one from ages 18 and above to avail themselves the opportunity of owning their voters card, this is the only weapon we have to salvage our beautiful constituency and country in general.
