Peter Mbah

Just recently, President Muhammad Buhari received in audience, Dr Peter Mbah and the Board of Directors of Pinnacle Oil and Gas Ltd, who visited to appreciate the president for inaugurating the company’s huge petroleum products offshore facilities at Lekki, in Lagos State. Visible facts have shown that the facilities’ activities have lowered handling and delivery costs and improved the distribution of petroleum products across in the country, addressed the notorious traffic gridlock in the Apapa area of Lagos and provided valuable job opportunities for many Nigerians.

Recall that on the 22nd day of October 2022, the President inaugurated Pinnacle’s storage terminal, adjudged to be the largest storage terminal in West Africa, with offshore intake and off-take facilities, also adjudged to be the deepest intake and off-take facility in the entire African sub-region, sitting at a water depth of 23 metres.

The offshore facilities have the capacity to receive the largest vessels one can think of and eject over 80 million liters of clean petroleum products within 24hrs in what originally took the industry 30 to 32 days to discharge until Mbah’s disruptive innovation brought magnificent panacea to the problem.

Contrary to the propaganda and falsehoods peddled by social
media hirelings of drowning governorship candidates, that Mbah’s visit to the President was to beg for Presidential pardon; it can only be dismissed as laughable.

The EFCC has been incontrovertible in their statement that DR. PETER NDUBUISI MBAH HAS NO CRIMINAL CASE PENDING AGAINST HIM HERE OR IN COURT. WE WERE ONCE MISLED BY ERROR IN 2012 DURING THE PETROLEUM SUBSIDY SAGA, AND WHEN HE PRESENTED HIS DOCUMENTS SHOWING HE COMPLIED WITH EXTANT LAWS, WE WITHDREW OUR CASE AGAINST HIM AND OFFERED PUBLIC APOLOGY TO HIM”.

This is the undisputable fact and Uche Nnaji, Chijioke Edeoga and Ugo Agballah have nothing to contravene it except mischievous fabrications and invented spurious stories that are accompanied by manipulated and doctored videos.

It has become discernable and obvious that the opposition candidates are envious of a successful entrepreneur who is ahead of their game and Mbah whom God has awesomely blessed beyond the imagination of proletariats like Uche Nnaji, Edeoga, Ugo Agballah and co.

Peter Mbah has built many profitable and successful businesses with national and global impact from ground zero. His existence and dealings are defined by passion, focus, creativity and innovation. These attributes and skills have been applied in his private businesses such as Pinnacle Oil and Gas Ltd which he established in 2008 as a neophyte in oil and gas industry in Nigeria.

From bottom position, he grew the company to a pole position in the industry as at 2021. This masterstroke was achieved in a high competitive market that was already dominated by oligopolies such as Mobil, Total Unipetrol and the rest. This is a clear manifestation of his ability not only to appreciate situations, but to also thrive, flourish and climb the ladder.

Mbah with all his experiences haven served as a Commissioner and also marvellously as a Chief of Staff, in the capacity of which he headed many agencies. Those positions and responsibilities afforded him the opportunity to make indelible proliferation and gave him the opportunity to learn and pulverise his skills in the art of public governance. Mbah is indeed a manger of men and materials.

Peter Mbah made the state’s fiscal operation, through the strategy document he evolved which became the operating template for Enugu State government’s development programmes, the NewsWatch magazine’s special publication of July 3rd, 2006, described Peter as “a man ahead of his time”.

With the current hike in the price of premium motor spirit in Nigeria, the man Mbah as a national asset has insisted that his company will sell petroleum products at the government approved rate of N185 to Nigerians in all parts of the country. This is indeed a show of national patriotism by providing succour to the populace even when he has no government power, then imagine the unprecedented development and poverty alleviation Enugu State will witness under his leadership as the Governor of the state. It will not be wrong to say that “Mbah is a National Asset that should be protected at all costs”.
